Elaina celebrated her first birthday on October 15, 2008. She was tickled pink to get pizza and strawberry cake all in the same night. She and Wynne enjoyed opening her presents, but most of all, playing with the balloons. After pizza, presents and cake we sat down to watch Fern Gully (which Wynne absolutely loves) overall, it was a pretty good party, especially for a first birthday. I must say, it was sad not having all of the nieces and nephews here to fight over spots to sit or the biggest piece of cake. lol. We sure do miss everyone, in fact this is the first birthday we have spent away from all the Aitchison cousins, kinda sad...and quiet. But overall we had a great time. Elaina's new thing is clapping, she just thrills herself every time she does it, its quite funny to watch.

She's so cute, she's gotten huge since we saw you guys in August!! Isn't it so crazy how fast they grow up?!
We can't wait to see you next week, I think Avery will have a blast having some kids to play with!
